Summary

Our internships are full-time positions (40 hours/week). Candidates will be expected to be available to work during normal business hours (Monday – Friday; exact hours will vary by position and some positions might require work on Saturdays). To be eligible for the internship program, candidates are required to be enrolled at an accredited post-secondary educational institution or have graduated from one within the 6 months prior to the start date of the internship. Candidates who do not meet our guideline will not be considered. This position will start in Jan and end in May 2025. Applications for later terms will not be accepted at this time.

Responsibilities

As an HR Operations Intern, the applicant will assist with various HR projects, primarily focused on supporting HR Operations in areas such as:

  • Creating presentations on key HR topics (eg: Absenteeism, Retention, etc).
  • Conducting research and providing summaries on HR trends and best practices.
  • Supporting the HR team with organizing and analyzing HR data.
  • Assisting in the preparation and execution of meetings, reports, and operational tasks.
  • Supporting with general administrative tasks and special projects within the HR department as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to prioritize and structure tasks effectively.
  • Experience creating presentations.

Pay & Benefits

  • Junior: $18/hour
  • Senior: $20/hour
  • Bachelor’s degree/recent graduate: $24.00
  • Master’s degree/enrolled or recent graduate: $27.00
  • Ph.D. / enrolled or recent graduate: $29.00
